Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains what information is involved when you visit draincleaninghenderson.us or call the number shown on it, and how that information is handled. Effective date: 6 November 2026.

1. Who we are

This website and its call-in referral line are operated under the name Drain Cleaning Henderson ("we", "us"). Drain Cleaning Henderson is a referral service, not a plumbing or drain-cleaning contractor. When this policy refers to the operator, it means the business operating under that name. The legal operator's details will be added to this page when they are confirmed.

2. A call-in only service

The site has no online forms, accounts, newsletters or chat. The only way to use the service is to place a phone call yourself. We do not make outbound calls, send text messages or send marketing emails, and calling the number does not sign you up for any of these. Your call is your own choice and your consent covers that call only.

3. What information a call involves

When you call, ordinary telephone information is involved, such as your phone number, the date, time and length of the call, and the general area the call comes from. Calls may be recorded or routed by a call-tracking provider, which is a technology service that connects the call to a local contractor and keeps basic call records. Where a call is recorded, the recording is used to route calls, check quality and resolve disputes.

During the call you may choose to give the contractor details such as your name, address and a description of the drain problem. That conversation is with the independent contractor, who handles the information under its own practices. Please share only what is needed to arrange the work.

4. How information is used

Call information is used to connect your call to a contractor serving your area, to keep a record that the connection happened, to maintain call quality, to prevent misuse of the line and to meet legal obligations. It is not used for advertising profiles, and it is not used to contact you later.

5. We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Information is shared only with the service providers needed to run the phone line and website, with the contractor your call is connected to, or where the law requires it.

6. Cookies and analytics

The site currently uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party tracking scripts. Your browser may store technical data needed to display pages, and the hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and reliability. If analytics are ever added, this policy will be updated before they are enabled and will explain your choices.

7. Independent contractors

Contractors your call is connected to are independent businesses. They are not our agents or employees, and their handling of the information you give them is governed by their own privacy practices. If you have a question about what a contractor holds about you, ask that company directly.

8. Security and retention

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect the limited information involved, including relying on established providers for hosting and call routing. No system is perfectly secure. Call records and any recordings are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, and then deleted or anonymised according to the call-tracking provider's retention settings.

9. Children

The service is meant for adults dealing with a drain problem at a home or business. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through a call, let us know so it can be deleted.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, state law may give you rights over personal information, such as the right to ask what information is held, to request deletion or correction, and to direct a business not to sell your information. Because this service does not sell personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still ask what call records exist and request their deletion. We will not treat you differently for making a request, and we may need to confirm that a request comes from the person the records relate to.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes, for example if a contact email or analytics is added. The effective date at the top will change when we do. To ask a question about privacy or to make a request, call the number shown on this site and say that your call is about a privacy request, or see the contact page. The terms of service explain the rest of the rules for using the site.
